The invention relates to a cam mechanism (1-1") for transmission of the rotary movement of a shaft (2-2") to a linear movement of a guided output element (7-7 ";43), wherein the cam mechanism (1-1") comprises a cam body (7-7") containing at least one guide groove (9-14; 19; 30-36; 51-55) and an engaging member (3-3 ") having at least one tappet (5, 6; 22; 23-29; 46-50) engaging in the guide groove (9-14; 19; 30-36; 51-55). In order to provide a cam mechanism (1-1") as an alternative to known cam mechanisms, by which an axially limited linear movement can be implemented, by means of which, however, also by simple supplementary measures a linear movement of the output element (7-7" ; 43) is possible along an arbitrarily long predeterminable travel path, the engaging member (3-3") according to the invention is connected to the shaft (2-2"), such that when the shaft (2-2") rotates at least one tappet (5, 6; 22; 23-29; 46-50) serving as drive tappet engages in the cam member (7-7') and displaces the cam member (7-7') axially as output element or, in the case of a cam member (7-7') designed as a guide rail, moves a housing (43) which is supported movably along the cam member (7-7') and serves as output element and which comprises the shaft (2; 2') and the engaging member (3; 3'). |
