ELASTOMER MATERIAL WITH IMMOBILIZED ION COMPONENT, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

An elastomer material (2) containing immobilized ionic components includes an elastomer (20), ion-immobilized particles (21) in which first ionic components (211) are immobilized to metallic oxide particles (210), and second ionic components (22) having electric charges opposite to electric charges of the first ionic components (211), wherein the ion-immobilized particles (21) are chemically bonded to the elastomer (20). In the elastomer material (2), the first ionic components (211) are immobilized to the elastomer (20) through the metallic oxide particles (210). Therefore, the first ionic components (211) do not easily migrate even with the passage of time or in use. Thus, the elastomer material (2) is less susceptible to temporal changes in properties. The elastomer material (2) is preferably used for the component of a transducer and a conductive roll.
