The present invention relates to a test device for testing durability and an impact absorbing capability of a shock absorber in a suspension system of a vehicle, and more specifically, to a test device for a shock absorber which facilitates installation and separation of a shock absorber to shorten work time, increases safety of a worker, prevents damage to equipment, simplifies the structure of the equipment to provide excellent workability, reduces manufacturing costs to provide a small garage with the test device at a low price, and provides a suitable means for vehicle tuning. The test device for a shock absorber comprises: a drive part having a motor for applying a vertical impact on a shock absorber; a pair of frames vertically installed side by side on an upper portion of the drive part; an elevating frame inserted between the frames and installed to be transported vertically, wherein a fixing lever is mounted thereon; an elevating handle rotatably installed on a middle portion of the elevating frame, and provided with a coupler mounted on a lower portion thereof, to which a piston rod of the shock absorber is coupled; a spring balance fixed and installed on an upper portion of the frames, and provided with a wire bound to the elevating frame and wound thereon; and a drive unit which is arranged on an upper portion of the drive part, has an adapter to which an eye ring of the shock absorber is coupled, and vertically operates by drive of the motor. |
