A knitted fabric of the present invention has a rib structure including a plurality of successive front stitches and a plurality of successive back stitches along the course direction. A miss stitch is disposed between the front stitches adjacent to each other and between the back stitches adjacent to each other. The placement of the front stitches, the back stitches and the miss stitches is shifted along the course direction. The knitted fabric is obtained, which can not be stretched in the wale direction and in the course direction. |
