The invention relates to a bearing unit comprising a bearing with a rotating ring (12), a non-rotating ring (14) and at least one row of rolling elements (10) in a rolling chamber (24) at least partially filled with a lubricant defined between the said rings. It is proposed that the rolling chamber is provided with at least two lubricant channels (26a, 26b, 28), wherein at least a first one of the lubricant channels is configured to remove worn lubricant from the rolling chamber.
