FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, specifically to ostomy wafers. Ostomy wafer comprises an adhesive layer, provided with a proximal surface in an axial direction facing user during use, a protective layer provided with a distal surface in an axial direction facing away from user during use, an opening having an inner radial boundary defining a stoma receiving opening, an outer radial boundary defining peripheral edge of ostomy wafer. Ostomy wafer is provided with a reinforcement structure arranged in an axial direction between proximal surface and distal surface and in a radial direction between inner and outer radial boundary for preventing deformation of stoma receiving opening in longitudinal and/or axial direction during use. Reinforcement structure is in form of at least two separate reinforcement members arranged on opposing sides of stoma receiving opening in radial direction.EFFECT: use of invention increases elasticity ostomy wafers along parts extending from one reinforcement member to another in longitudinal direction, thus ensuring complete flexibility of wafer in parts not passing through reinforcement members in longitudinal direction.9 cl, 4 dwg |
