PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology of achieving both of dustproof and heat radiation of an optical component.SOLUTION: A quarter-wave plate 239 mutually converts linearly polarized light and circularly polarized light. A metal aperture mask 270 mounts the quarter wave plate 239 to entirely cover one surface side of a first opening that regulates an irradiation region of circularly polarized light transmitted through the quarter wave plate 239. A printed circuit board 250 includes an image display element 240 that reflects the circularly polarized light transmitted through the aperture mask 270 to create image display light. A mount base 260 includes a second opening functioning as an optical path; the aperture mask 270 is mounted to entirely cover a first surface side of the second opening; and the printed circuit board 250 is mounted to entirely cover a second surface side of the second opening, positioning the image display element 240 in the second opening. The printed circuit board 250 includes a metal layer in an area of the board surface to be in contact with the mount base 260. |
