<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film, when applying liquid adhesive to a transparent film base material, suppressing the liquid adhesive from reaching the surface side of the hard coat layer, so-called liquid wrapping-around. <P>SOLUTION: The hard coat film comprises a hard coat layer with a coefficient of elasticity of 5.0 GPa or more formed on one surface of a transparent film base material. Knurling parts with 10 to 140 asperities per 1 cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are formed in both ends of the hard coat film on the surface in the hard coat layer side, and projections of the knurling part are formed on an opposite-side surface of the surface where the hard coat layer of the transparent film base material is formed so as to correspond to the recesses formed on the hard coat layer.
