<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly corrosion-resistant black scale steel that can suppress the appearance deterioration due to generation of red or yellow rust even in an atmosphere corrosive environment such as an outdoor exposure. <P>SOLUTION: The steel whose surface is covered with an oxide layer mainly composed of iron, is provided with a material containing resin that covers cracked or stripped parts for preventing a corrosion factor from intruding into the cracked or stripped parts of the iron based oxide layer. Corrosion resistance is improved by sealing the cracked parts or forming a film over the stripped parts or the steel surface with the material. In addition to the fact that the workability such as stickiness of the steel surface in the treatment is equivalent or better than conventional steel, the corrosion resistance has improved by the reason, so that a long-time outdoor storage is available until an actual fabrication is performed. Furthermore, rust generation in the actual fabrication is greatly reduced, so that the adhesiveness between the steel and concrete is good even if the black scale steel is used together with the concrete or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
