<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which ensures hot-offset resistance and heat-resistant storage property and has excellent low-temperature fixability and high charge stability in long-term agitation, even with use of polylactic acid; a developer using the toner; an image formation method; an image formation device; and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic toner includes at least a first binder resin, a second binder resin, and a colorant. The first binder resin exhibits two glass transition temperatures at Tg1 and Tg2 at least through observation with a differential scanning calorimeter at a temperature increase rate of 5°C/min. Tg1 is in the range of -20°C to 20°C, while Tg2 is in the range of 35°C to 65°C. The differences h1 and h2 in the base line due to the respective glass transitions have a ratio h1/h2 of less than 1.0. The second binder resin has a number average molecular weight Mn of 8000 to 25000, and a glass transition temperature Tg of -5°C to 15°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
