ACTUATING DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRIC SWITCHGEAR

Actuating device for electric switchgear of the type comprising one or more bushings connected to a casing. The actuating device comprises:
- a gear mechanism which is suitable to be mounted at and outside the zone where a bushing is connected to the casing, and which comprises a plurality of gear means operatively interconnected to each other and arranged to move a bushing between a first service position and a second transport position wherein it is lowered towards the casing from the first service position; and
- connection means which are arranged to keep the bushing operatively coupled to the casing while moving it between the first and second positions.
