A support device (7) for a toilet sanitizing block comprises a housing (11) for containing a sanitizing block. The housing (11) includes at least one aperture (9)(15) configured to permit the passage of fluid into and out of housing (11). The housing (11) further includes means for selectively varying the effective size of the at least one aperture (9)(15) to vary the permitted flow of fluid into and out of the housing (11). The means for selectively varying the at least one aperture (9)(15) enables the fluid flow rate into and out of the housing (11) to be controlled, to vary the flow rate and hence the rate of dissolution of the sanitizing block. |
