The assembly has a lateral lining (18) for laterally defining a luggage compartment (12) of a car. A guide mechanism (22) guides rotation of a shelf (20) relative to the lateral lining for supporting objects about a transverse axis (A-A'). The guide mechanism comprises a rotary insertion element (60) for inserting edges of the shelf, where the insertion element is rotatably mounted on the lateral lining about the transverse axis. The insertion element comprises a clamp (68) that delimits an insertion passage (70) defining between an upper surface and a lower surface of the shelf. |
