PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case drip-proof structure for a portable measuring instrument or the like, which is constituted so as to allow an external terminal chamber provided with an external terminal connectable to an external electric apparatus or the like to be taken out from a case and introduces a signal line led out from the external terminal to a drip-proof chamber in the case, and to provide a portable temperature measuring instrument case and a drip-proofing method for the case.SOLUTION: The case drip-proof structure includes a drip-proof chamber 2 provided in a case 1 and an external terminal chamber 3 removably housed in the case 1. A band-shaped signal line 7 led out from an external terminal 5 in the external terminal chamber 3 is introduced to the drip-proof chamber 2 via an external terminal hole 11 provided in the external terminal chamber 3 and a communication hole 12 provided in the drip-proof chamber, and water penetrating through the external terminal hole 11 is discharged out of the case 1 via a drain hole 14 from a drip-proof space 13 provided between the external terminal hole 11 and the communication hole 12, and water left undischarged or water running on the signal line 7 is blocked by holding the signal line 7 between a blocking plate 15 blocking the communication hole 12 and an inserting and fitting groove 17. |
