PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic stop control device of an internal combustion engine capable of sufficiently achieving improvement effect of fuel consumption by automatic stop, and improving marketability by automatically stopping and restarting the internal combustion engine at a proper timing according to a brake operating state.SOLUTION: An automatic stop control device of an internal combustion engine automatically stops the internal combustion engine 3 (steps 2, 3, 5 in Fig. 4), when prescribed stop conditions including a condition that a brake switch 48 is kept in an on-state, are satisfied. When a master cylinder pressure PMC is raised to a first prescribed pressure PREF1 during the automatic stop, restarting is executed (steps 8-11) when the master cylinder pressure PMC is lowered to a second prescribed pressure 2 or less thereafter, and when the master cylinder pressure PMC is not raised to the first prescribed pressure PREF1 or more, restarting is executed (step 8, 10-12) when a brake switch 11 is kept in an off-state thereafter. |
