PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting cable which cooling efficiency of a superconduction conductor layer with refrigerant is high, and can prevent distribution of power transmission current at usual time to a distributary conductor for distribution of accident current in accident.SOLUTION: A superconducting cable 10 comprises: a superconduction conductor part 110 having a superconduction conductor layer 112 on a circumference of a former 111 winding around a superconducting wire rod in a spiral; and a thermal insulation tube 120 holding the superconduction conductor part 110 and formed an outside refrigerant duct 52 to circulate refrigerant 50 in a space between the superconduction conductor unit 110. The former 111 is a tube formed an inside refrigerant duct 51 to circulate the refrigerant 50 in an internal space. A distributary conductor 130 formed in the internal space of the former 111 with a normal conduction conductor is provided. |
