The winding coil (1) has several stacked conductor bars (2a-2e) provided with cooling slots (6a-6f) in depth direction. The conductor bars are designed such that widths of cooling slots are decreased in the radial direction (3) of winding coil main portion, so that the passage area for the flow mediums, formed within the refrigeration slots is reduced in radial direction. The height (8a-8e) of each conductor bar is increased in the radial direction of the cooling slots. Several insulating strips (7) are arranged between stacked conductor bars for insulating conductor bars from each other.
