The present invention relates to a method for covering of a screen in a smartphone, in which a application selected among a plurality of applications is set as an activated application, and a screen covering image is displayed on an uppermost screen of a display unit when a non-activated application is executed during an operation time for screen covering, thereby disabling a user from manipulating the non-activated application. The method for covering of a screen in a smartphone comprises the steps of: setting, by a control unit, an operation time for screen covering and an activated application which the user can execute and operate during the operation time for screen covering; executing an application according to an execution commend when the execution command for the application is input to an input unit during the operation time for screen covering, and determining whether the executed application is the activated application; and disabling, by the control unit, the user from manipulating the executed application by displaying the screen covering image as an uppermost screen on a display panel when the executed application is not the activated application. |
