PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a small-sized light source unit 1 achieving light close to original light distribution irrespective of the position of a socket of a lighting fixture.SOLUTION: A light source unit 1 comprises: a base part 2 mounted on a socket and fed with power; a rotatable rotor 3 connected to the base part 2; a support part 4 connected to the rotor 3 and electrically connected to the base part 2; and light emitting part 6 rotatably mounted on one end side of the support part 4 and electrically connected. The light emitting part 6 has a flat surface part 61a and a rotation support part 23 which is rotatably mounted on the support part 4 in such a manner that the flat surface part 61a faces downward by self-weight irrespective of the direction of the socket, so that a light emitting surface can be rotated corresponding to the position of the socket of the lighting fixture, light close to original light distribution can be achieved and an outer shape can be miniaturized. |
