PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficiently light emitting dial plate structure for use in illuminated timepiece apparatuses that can illuminate pointers, signs and the like.SOLUTION: An illumination structure for a timepiece dial plate comprises a light guide plate formed of plate-shaped light guide material having a light incidence part and a dial plate 10 disposed on a front side of the light guide plate and irradiated with light from the light guide plate. The dial plate 10 has on a rear side thereof a rear first ink layer 102 whose whole face is to be printed with white ink and a rear second ink layer 103 to be superposed over the rear first ink layer 102 and to be printed with black ink, and on a front side thereof a front first ink layer 104 to be printed with white ink and a sign ink layer 101 to be superposed over the front first ink layer 104 and printed with black ink; the rear second ink layer 103 and the front first ink layer 104 are respectively provided with similarly shaped non-ink layers 103a and 104a larger than the sign ink layer 101 of the dial plate 10 in positions corresponding to the sign ink layer. |
