A resin retention apparatus (1), which has a plurality of pockets (8) which are disposed along the circumference direction, and in which rolling bodies (7) are retained, is inspected for defects. While rotationally driving the resin retention apparatus (1) about an axial center thereof, a displacement of the resin retention apparatus (1) in the axial direction and/or the radial direction is detected, and a quality determination is carried out on the basis of the degree of displacement. |
