<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system, management device, and usage information managing method which efficiently manage usage information of game machines and game machine devices, when a game machine having dispensable game mediums and a game machine having closed game mediums are coexist. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse receiving unit 84 obtains usage information, as a pulse signal, relating to the game machine 120 having dispensable game mediums, from the game machine 120 and a sandwiched card processor 110, and obtains usage information, as a pulse signal, relating to the game machine 20 having closed game mediums, from the game machine 20 and a sandwiched card processor 10.
