<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of a cylinder cosmetic container which stores a solid or pasty cosmetic such as a lipstick, an eye shadow, and an eyebrow, and an applicator corresponding to the material, and a mirror in one container. <P>SOLUTION: The cosmetic container includes: a cosmetic storage portion 6 for storing the cosmetic 9 axially extending from a base part 3 of a body 1; an applicator storage portion 7 for storing the applicator 11; and a cap 2 detachably fitted to the base part 3, and covers the cosmetic storage portion 6 and the applicator storage portion 7. Horizontal sectional shapes of the body 1 and the cap 2 are polygonal, or noncircular with a large horizontal to vertical ratio. A cosmetic storage surface 8 for storing the cosmetic 9 of the cosmetic storage portion 6 is provided in parallel to a diagonal line of the cross-section or the major axis direction. An inner lid 13 for covering the cosmetic storage surface 8 in parallel to the shaft line is hinged to the end part of the cosmetic storage surface 8.
