PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a perpendicular transverse wave probe capable of stabilizing an echo at an early stage without imposing a load for workers on site.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transverse wave probe (10) performs ultrasonic crack inspection of a test piece (20) by being contacted with the test piece, propagating a transverse ultrasonic wave driven by an electrical signal through the test piece and converting the transverse ultrasonic wave propagated through the specimen into an electrical signal. The surface of the ultrasonic transverse wave probe contacted with the test piece includes a protruding part (2a) with a shape having a point of stress concentration. |
