RECOMBINANT VACCINIA VIRUS DERIVED FROM KVAC 1 0 3 STRAIN

摘要

The present invention relates to a novel recombinant virus vector using an attenuated vaccinia virus strain KVAC103. The recombinant virus vector into which an exotic gene is inserted in to the KVAC103 can be used as a vaccine carrier which is safe to mammals. Particularly, the recombinant virus in which some of the gene once deleted from a provirus is restored shows enhanced proliferation properties in a cultured cell, thereby enabling easy production of the recombinant virus. In addition, the expression rate of external antigen increases while improving efficacy of inducing immune response. Such recombinant virus vector can be used in the molecular biological investigation and vaccines for preventing and treating disease.
