<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional place name output device outputs the same place names every time when the same characters are input and cannot change place names to be output according to a current location and a location of a destination. <P>SOLUTION: A place name output device which can output place names corresponding to location information and input characters, comprises: a place information storage unit for storing each piece of place information which indicates a place and includes place name information indicating a name of the place and place location information indicating a location of the place; a location information acquisition unit for acquiring location information indicating a location; a reception unit for receiving character input; a place name information acquisition unit for acquiring the place name information which corresponds to the location information acquired by the location information acquisition unit and includes the input characters received by the reception unit, from the place information storage unit; and an output unit for outputting the place name information acquired by the place name information acquisition unit as input candidates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
