<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen adhesiveness between a transferred surface and an image receiving layer including an image forming layer. <P>SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer medium uses an image forming method in which at least a transferable image receiving layer is formed on a supportive body, the image receiving layer includes the image forming layer thermally transferred using a thermal transfer recording medium in which the image forming layer for forming a relief-type hologram or diffraction grating comprising fine concave-convex patterns is formed on the supportive body, a surface of the image receiving layer to which the image forming layer is thermally transferred is superimposed toward the transferred surface of a transferred body, and the image forming layer as well as the image receiving layer are transferred to the transferred body by heating pressuring, thus, the image forming body is obtained. In the intermediate transfer medium, an easily adhesive layer is formed by being arranged on the supportive body in a surface direction of the supportive body together with the image receiving layer. The easily adhesive layer is transparent, and can be peeled off from the supportive body by heating.
