A vehicle (1) comprises a rotary electric machine (M), an inverter (20) and an electronic control unit (100). The electronic control unit (100) is configured to set a control mode of the inverter (20) to a first mode on a condition that the electronic control unit (100) determines that there is no possibility of occurrence of the electrolytic corrosion. The electronic control unit (100) is configured to set the control mode of the inverter (20) to a second mode and maintain output of the rotary electric machine (M) at user request output on a condition that the electronic control unit (100) determines that there is a possibility of occurrence of the electrolytic corrosion. The second mode is a mode in which occurrence of the electrolytic corrosion is further suppressed compared to the first mode.
