The present invention relates to a method of preparing coated rice using a cudrania tricupspidata bureau extract and coated rice prepared therefrom. The method comprises: a step of preparing coated rice by immersing rice in a cudrania tricupspidata coating solution containing the cudrania tricupspidata bureau extract; and a step of irradiating a millimeter wave having a frequency of 30-300 GHz into the coated rice. Even if the coated rice is washed, a cudrania tricupspidata coating layer is not delaminated. In addition, excellent antioxidant power is represented, and the content of GABA increased.
