The present invention relates to a gas alarm device. This gas alarm device includes: a cylindrical pipe-shaped outer pipe; and attachment/detachment means for attaching/detaching the outer pipe in a through-hole formed in a finishing material board. The attachment/detachment means includes: a spring wound around an upper edge of the outer pipe; and a U-shaped support formed by both end portions of the spring extending integratedly; a plurality of vent holes being formed in the outer pipe for air circulation between the finishing material board and a ceiling wall; and a main body coupled by fastening means being additionally mounted in an internal space of the outer pipe. The main body includes: a detection sensor for detecting gas leakage from the air transferred by the vent hole; and a display light being mounted on an outer surface of the main body to display an operation state of the main body. According to this configuration, a state of a gas pipe concealed in spaces of the ceiling wall and the finishing material board can be checked with a naked eye or by a portable gas detector, and the gas leakage from the gas pipe can be easily detected. |
