PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of securing sealability when a rotation-side member rotates at a low speed and placing a slide contact part of a seal lip in a non-contact state when the rotation-side member rotates at a high speed equal to or higher than a set value.SOLUTION: A sealing device includes a cover member 21 and a seal member 30. A seal lip 35 having a slide contact part 36 coming into slide contact with an outer peripheral surface of a rotation-side member 11 is fixed to a core bar 31 of the seal member 30. A plurality of magnetic bodies 50 are arrayed at an outer peripheral part of the seal lip 35 in a peripheral direction. On the side of the cover member 21, an electromagnetic coil 55 is arranged which separates the slide contact part 36 of the seal lip 35 from a rotation-side member 11 by attracting the plurality of magnetic bodies 50 with magnetic force. A plurality of permanent magnets 61 are arranged in a peripheral direction of an outer periphery of the rotation-side member 1. An electric power generating coil 65 corresponding to the plurality of permanent magnets 61 is arranged on the side of the cover member 21. An electromagnetic coil 55 and the electric power generating coil 65 are connected by connection lines 70, 71. |
