<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide device that can secure the operating performance by reducing an abrupt frictional force at a curved part of a rolling element circulation path. <P>SOLUTION: At least a part of a curved part 51 out of a straight part 50 and the curved part 51 which constitute the rolling element circulation path of this linear guide device is formed of a clothoid curve to reduce a centrifugal force produced in a rolling element B immediately after the movement of the rolling element from the straight part 50 to the curved part 51. Since an increase in the abrupt frictional force is suppressed, the operating performance of the linear guide device can be secured. When the rolling element B is a roller, the curved part 51 in an area where skew is liable to occur is formed of a clothoid curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
