The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method that makes it possible to produce a compound having an oxydifluoromethylene skeleton at a high yield without using dibromodifluoromethane or another such highly toxic raw material, by a simple process, and virtually without generating any impurities that are difficult to separate. A compound having an oxydifluoromethylene skeleton can be obtained at excellent yield by reacting a thionocarboxylic acid ester (which can be obtained as needed by reacting a thiocarbonyl halide compound with a specific compound) with a compound represented by the formula: XFn (in the formula, X represents chlorine, bromine, or iodine, and n represents a natural number of 1-5). Aromatic ring groups and various other such groups can also be introduced at good yield by reacting this compound with a boronic acid compound or the like as needed. |
