PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can set a specific ID to each slave node by a simplified configuration and setting processing.SOLUTION: In a communication system, one communication line is a clock signal line 3 that is daisy-chain connected between a microcomputer 1 and a plurality of IC 2. The microcomputer 1 starts outputting a clock signal SCK to the IC 2 during an ID setting period after power-on. When the clock signal SCK is input, a one-clock delay signal processing unit in an IC2 delays the clock signal SCK by one clock period, and outputs it to the next stage IC 2, and also a counter 14 counts the number of input pulses of the clock signal SCK. When a clock stop determination circuit determines that the ID setting period is finished, a control unit of the IC 2 sets an ID of the own IC2 on the basis of the count value of the number of input pulses at the counter. |
