The present invention relates to a novel strain of Trichoderma Harzianum MPA 167 and a use thereof, and more particularly, to a method for preventing plant diseases using Trichoderma Harzianum MPA 167, or to a method for promoting plant growth using Trichoderma Harzianum MPA 167. Also, the present invention relates to a method of producing volatile substance A from a culture of Trichoderma Harzianum MPA 167. The Trichoderma Harzianum MPA 167 according to the present invention can prevent the plant diseases and effectively promote the plant growth at the same time, having the availability as a composite formulation. Therefore, it is expected that the Trichoderma Harzianum MPA 167 can be produced and supplied as various microbial preparations and thus crops can be produced environment-friendly without using chemical preparations. |
