PROCESSING AND INSPECTING METHOD OF A STUD HOLE

A processing and inspecting method of a stud hole includes: (a) a step of processing the stud hole to a depth enough to form more screw threads than a predetermined number of the same; (b) a step of tapping the predetermined number of screw threads on the inner side of the stud hole; (c) a step of inspecting the added screw thread by a go/no go gauge; (d) a step of tapping the additional screw threads as many as the defective screw threads among the added screw threads; and (e) a step of repeating the step (c) and the step (d) until a defective screw thread is not found among the screw threads. Thus, the method can tap the additional screw thread as many as the defective screw threads on the inner side of the stud hole where the screw thread is not formed, and can use a longer stud bolt to satisfy required strength. Thus, the method can prevent occurrence of a problem that it is impossible to use the whole vessel of a reactor.
