The present invention relates to a surface visualization method for foreign substance inspection in a camera module. Disclosed is a surface visualization method by which a foreign substance such as dust and a fingerprint between a lens and an infrared filter of the camera module can be inspected in a precise manner. The surface visualization method according to the present invention is carried out with a captured image of a white light source irradiating the camera module with light in a uniform manner, and firstly generates a differential image of a background image and an input image estimated as a polynominal expression. Then, adjacent pixel groups having similar brightness values are recursively smoothened by the application of a median filtering of high precision so that a surface bending state and a surface defect, such as the foreign substance, of the camera module can become conspicuous. |
