The present invention relates to an organic illumination device and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic illumination device can be easily manufactured while enabling high brightness illumination. The organic illumination device includes: a first flexible substrate; a first electrode which is arranged on the first flexible substrate and is capable of transmitting light; an intermediate layer which is arranged on the first flexible substrate and includes a light emitting layer; a second electrode which is arranged on top of the intermediate layer and transmits light; a second flexible substrate arranged on the second electrode; and a reflection plate which is interposed between the second flexible substrate and the second electrode to correspond to a first area on the second flexible substrate.
