The present invention relates to a terminal security apparatus and method. The terminal security apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a capture unit which generates a capture image by periodically capturing a screen displayed on a terminal according to a predetermined condition; an authentication unit which periodically authenticates a user based on the condition; and a control unit which matches the capture image with user information for the user authentication and then stores them or limits an operation of the terminal according to a result of the authentication. According to the present invention, user authentication is performed by periodically photographing or scanning a bodily region of a user who uses the terminal, and a screen that is displayed simultaneously with the authentication is captured. Accordingly, divulgence of data which may occur in the future can be prevented and a person who has divulged the corresponding data can be easily searched for and provided. Furthermore, a more robust security service can be provided by providing, via repetitive login, user authentication which is more secure than a conventional login method. |
