The present invention relates to a laundry collecting apparatus. The laundry collecting apparatus is mounted on the washing tub of a fully automatic vertical axis washing machine, which washes and spin-dries laundry, in order to collect the laundry at once after it is completely washed. The cylindrical washing basin is arranged therein to store laundry and the laundry collecting apparatus has a lid on the upper part in order to enable a user to input and take out laundry. The laundry collecting apparatus includes: a base frame in the shape of a coil spring; a first frame which is integrated or coupled to the lower end part of the base frame and is extended from the lower part of the base frame to the upper part of the base frame in a spiral shape; a second frame which is integrated or coupled with the upper end part of the base frame and is extended in a spiral shape; and a cylindrical mesh which is coupled to the upper and lower parts of the base frame individually to surround the entire part of the base frame except the upper part. After a washing operation is completed, a user can collect the completely-washed laundry at once after putting the laundry into washing basin in advance without requiring the user to bend over and take out the laundry. The laundry collecting apparatus can be applied to already available and existing vertical axis washing machines instead of being available only for washing machines adapting exclusive configuration. The laundry collecting apparatus has a structure which can be easily mounted onto the washing machine and does not require a user to manually put the laundry into a general laundry net, thereby maximizing user convenience. |
