The present invention relates to a prediction system of hourly power demands by uses for city energy management, including a data managing module, a selecting module, a predicting module, and a normalizing module. The prediction system of hourly power demand by uses for city energy management performs following steps: (1) classifying data; (2) selecting maximum and minimum power demand amounts; (3) predicting the maximum and minimum power demand amounts; (4) performing normalization; (5) performing normalization prediction; (6) predicting hourly power demands; (7) predicting occupancy ratios by uses; and (7) drawing final results.
