Provided is an independent modular transfer-type power takeoff device for commercial trucks and pick-up vehicles equipped with an automatic or manual transmission. The independent modular transfer-type power takeoff device for commercial trucks and pick-up vehicles equipped with an automatic or manual transmission of the present invention comprises: a power input unit to which power of a propeller shaft is input; a power output unit which is gear-coupled to the power input unit and transfers the power input to a wheel side through the power input unit; a PTO unit which is gear-coupled to the power input unit and draws power input through the power input unit; a shifting unit which adjusts the power conveying direction through a varying gear-coupling relationship such that power of the power input unit is individually conveyed to each of the power output unit and PTO unit or simultaneously conveyed to the power output unit and PTO unit, which reduces manufacturing costs for manufacturing and installing a product and enables take-off and utilization of engine power by distinguishing a stop condition and an operating condition of a vehicle.
