An image photographing method comprises: a step of outputting an image recognized by a camera to a display unit; a step of obtaining multiple pieces of distance information on the image; a step of selecting a first area based on the multiple pieces of distance information; a step of applying a specified effect to the selected first area or a non-selected second area; and a step of storing the image, to which the specified image effect is applied. A plurality of objects can be distinguished based on the distance information by photographing the image including the distance information using an infrared sensor such that a specific object on the image can be extracted, thereby allowing easy editing of the image. |
