PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gib crane capable of simply and inexpensively preventing a collision between the mutual gib cranes.SOLUTION: A gib crane 1 comprises a crane body 12, a long size gib 14 and a laser scanner 18. The crane body 12 is turnably installed on a main column 10. The gib 14 is installed in the crane body 12 so that the tip 14b side can undulate. The laser scanner 18 is installed in a lower part in a second direction (the Z direction) orthogonal to both the longitudinal direction (the X direction) of the gib 14 among the gib 14 and the first direction (the Y direction) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (the X direction) and extending in the horizontal direction. In the laser scanner 18, a secondary area of extending in the longitudinal direction (the X direction) and uncrossed with the gib 14, that is, an area on the tip 14b side of the gib 14 more than the laser scanner 18, is set as a detection area R for detecting a gib of other gib crane. |
