PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening reinforcement structure for a footing beam and other RC beams, capable of reinforcing an opening without densely arranged reinforcing members in the beam width direction and avoiding increase in the beam height thereby allowing a large opening to be formed.SOLUTION: An RC beam 20 has a top reinforcement 2, a bottom reinforcement 3 and stirrups 4 embedded in concrete 5, and an opening 1 through the front and rear surfaces. Upper and lower horizontal reinforcements 6, 7 and a polygonal reinforcement 18 that reinforces around the opening are embedded in the concrete 5. The upper and lower horizontal reinforcements 6, 7 are positioned above and below the opening 1, respectively, and arranged in the beam longitudinal direction. The polygonal reinforcement 18 is connected to the upper nad lower horizontal reinforcements 6, 7. The overall polygonal reinforcement 18 and the horizontal reinforcements 6, 7 are positioned in a same vertical surface along the beam longitudinal direction. A steel plate may be used in place of the polygonal reinforcement 18. |
