The present technology provides a color-sensing device that includes an electrically-conductive substrate and a bulk heterojunction (BHJ) polymer layer formed on the substrate. The color-sensing device is configured to detect a first color of two colors and produce a first electrical signal that includes a first current response indicating detection of the first color. The color-sensing device is further configured to detect a second color of the two colors and produce a second electrical signal that includes a second current response indicating detection of the second color. |

1. An apparatus for sensing multiple colors, the apparatus comprising:
an electrically-conductive substrate; and a bulk heterojunction (BHJ) polymer layer formed on the electrically-conductive substrate, wherein the BHJ polymer layer is configured to:
produce a first current response responsive to reception of a first color of two colors; andproduce second current response responsive to reception of a second color of the two colors; and wherein the apparatus is configured to:
produce a first electrical signal corresponding to the first current response indicating detection of the first color; andproduce a second electrical signal corresponding to the second current response indicating detection of the second color; and wherein the electrically-conductive substrate comprises a Bragg reflector. |
