1. A method for synchronizing a powertrain subsystem in a vehicle, the method comprising:
analyzing, by one or more processors included in the vehicle, condition data that corresponds to one or more impending conditions external to the vehicle; predicting a driver action corresponding to a driver of the vehicle in response to the analysis, wherein the predicted driver action corresponds to a predicted deceleration of the vehicle; providing an indication to the driver to decelerate the vehicle, wherein the indication is selected from the group consisting of decreasing accelerator pedal pressure and increasing brake pedal pressure; and disengaging a transmission included in the powertrain subsystem in response to the driver performing the predicted driver action. |
