1. A display device comprising:
a display unit that displays an image on a display surface; a display control unit that allows the display unit to display a plurality of images based on image data input from a plurality of image supply devices; a detection unit that detects a single operation location of a single operation by a pointing tool with respect to the display surface; an output control unit that selects at least one of the image supply devices based on the operation location detected by the detection unit and a display location of the image on the display surface; and an output switching unit that transmits the detected operation location to the selected at least one of the image supply devices, wherein the display control unit determines whether the detected operation location of the pointing tool is superimposed on a specific button, the output control unit selects all of the image supply devices and the output switching unit transmits the detected operation location to all of the image supply devices in response to a single determination that the detected operation location is superimposed on the specific button to thereby select the specific button, and the output control unit selects one of the image supply devices and the output switching unit transmits the detected operation location to the selected one of the image supply devices in response to a single determination that the detected operation location is not superimposed on the specific button to thereby not select the specific button.
