PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive terminal that can be easily inserted into a housing of a waterproof connector, hardly damages a mat seal when inserted, and is hardly deformed by external force in an insertion/departure direction after insertion.SOLUTION: A conductive terminal 100 is inserted into a cylindrical terminal mount space 51 formed in a housing 50 having a waterproof mat seal 61 at the back surface side while penetrating through a through-hole 61a of the waterproof mat seal 61 and directing to the front surface of the housing 50. The conductive terminal 100 has a cylindrical sheath portion 10 provided at the tip side in the insertion direction X thereof, a core wire crimping portion 13 provided at the base end side in the insertion direction X, and a convex-shaped lance fitting portion 11 provided to the sheath portion 10 to be fitted to a lance 52 provided in the terminal mount space 51. The lance fitting portion 11 is provided with an inclined portion 11 which is upwards inclined from the tip side to the base end side, and a contact portion 11b which extends from the inclined portion 11a in a direction approaching the axial center of the sheath portion 10, and comes into contact with the ceiling wall of the sheath portion 10 vertically. |
