PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration counter that enables a cash registration work to be performed in a state where a shopping basket having products therein is loaded on a cart, enables reduction in work time at the registration counter, and enables a shop clerk to smoothly perform the registration work even when only the shopping basket is brought in without use of the cart.SOLUTION: A registration counter comprises: a working table 2 that has a top board 3 and a leg section; and a basket shelf 10 that is attached to the working table in a state capable of a slide movement. When force is not applied, the basket shelf is configured so as to be in a usable state where the basket shelf projects toward an outer side further than the top board, and when pressing force is applied to a tip end part 10a of the shelf, the basket shelf 10 in the usable state slidingly moves, and is configured so as to be in an accommodation state where the basket shelf is accommodated below the top board 3 of the working table 2, and when the pressing force is removed, the basket shelf in the accommodation state slidingly moves toward the outer side of the working table due to a weight of the shelf, and is configured so as to be in the usable state where the basket shelf projects toward the outer side further than the top board. |
